Biography

Dr. Z. B. Dubal, Pr. Scientist from ICAR-IVRI is working on AMR (ESBL & carbapenamase producing E. coli & MRSA) pathogens and their virulence markers from foods of animal origin and its associated environment. He initiated and associated with many diagnostic procedure, research programes on AMR and rotavirus. He conducted several awareness programme on clean milk production, zoonotic pathogens and, AMR in foodborne pathogens. He has handled many projects and presently handling prestigious Indo-UK collaborative project on AMR funded by DBT & ICAR-FAO collaborative project on “Indian Network of Fishery and Animal Antimicrobial Resistance (INFAAR)” as a PI of IVRI centre. He guided 12 masters and 2 Ph. D. students and their research outputs on AMR & rotaviruses are published in >50 national and international journals in addition to popular articles, book chapters, extension folders etc. His aim is to develop interventions strategies for improving the microbiological quality and safety of foods of animal origin.
