Biography
Md. Alamin Talukder is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the International University of Business Agriculture and Technology in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He previously served as a Research & Teaching Assistant in the Department of CSE at Jagannath University, Bangladesh, and as a Research Assistant at the School of Information Technology at Deakin University, Australia. He completed his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering from Jagannath University, Dhaka.
His research focuses on machine learning, deep learning, and AI-driven decision-making systems, with applications in cybersecurity, digital health, and big data analysis. He has received several prestigious research fellowships and grants, including the ICT Research Fellowship from the ICT Division of Bangladesh, the NST Research Fellowship from the MOST of Bangladesh, and a Reviewer Grant from Qatar University. Additionally, he was awarded the Merit Scholarship for Outstanding Results and the Special Research Award for Publishing High-Impact Research Papers from Jagannath University and received the Miyan Publications Reward from IUBAT as well as got the Special Research Grant from MOST of Bangladesh. Furthermore, he has been awarded the prestigious Dr. KW Wong Best Paper Award 2024 presented in the Journal of Information Security and Applications (JISA), Elsevier for his outstanding research.
Talukder has collaborated with researchers worldwide and has been recognized for his contributions toward achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. His research aims to develop interpretable and clinically relevant AI models to enhance productivity and efficiency across various fields. He has published over 35 research papers, including more than 14 as the first author and over 1 as the sole author, with over 1420 citations.
