Biography

Gadadhar Banerjee received his B. Sc. and M.Sc. in Mathematics from The University of Burdwan and the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur in 2008 and 2010, respectively. He received his PhD degree from the National Institute of Technology Durgapur in 2018. He worked as a post-doctoral research fellow in the Department of Mathematics, Visva-Bharati University, India during 2019-2022. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, at Burdwan Raj College, under the University of Burdwan. Earlier he was affiliated with the Department of Basic Science and Humanities (BSH), University of Engineering & Management, Kolkata-160 providing services as an Assistant Professor in Mathematics. Also, he served the Budge Budge Institute of Technology Kolkata as an Assistant Professor of Mathematics. He is a life member of the Plasma Science Society of India (PSSI). He has authored various research papers in reputed journals in the field of theoretical plasmas physics which involves strongly coupled plasmas, dusty plasmas, and quantum plasmas. His current research interests include nonlinear waves and instabilities in plasmas, finite temperature degenerate plasmas, relativistic plasmas and nonlinear thermoacoustic waves in plasmas.
