Biography
Dr. Xuezhong He has long experience in membrane science and engineering. He has been working on the development of hollow fiber carbon membranes for gas separation for his PhD thesis, and late on focused on addressing the main challenges of membranes for high-pressure natural gas sweetening. Recently, I focused on pilot-scale demonstration of membranes for CO2 capture from real-life flue gases, and start to bring membranes from fundamental research to pilot demonstration with experimental and process simulation. he had a solid knowledge of both polymeric, mixed matrix, and carbon membranes for different applications including but not limited to flue gas, biogas, natural gas, and hydrogen processes as well as biomass to biofuels. A number of presentations have been given at chemical engineering, membrane, and energy-related conferences, and also published more than 60 papers in high-level peer-review journals within membrane science and chemical engineering, together with one book, 8 book chapters, and one PCT patent, with a total citation of 3700 (H index 29).
