Biography
I received my PhD in Biomechanics from ETH Zürich in 2019, and I currently lead the Computational Modelling group within the Laboratory for Movement Biomechanics at ETH. My research is centered on the kinematics and kinetics of both healthy and replaced knees. I utilize in vivo data, including skin-marker motion capture, video-fluoroscopy, ground reaction force, and EMG, as inputs to musculoskeletal, multi-body, and finite element models to assess and predict joint function during daily activities. My work aims to enhance surgical techniques, ultimately improving performance and patient satisfaction following soft tissue reconstruction and joint replacement.
