Biography

Prof. dr Dragan (Života) Đurđević is a lecturer at the Faculty of Civil Aviation, Megatrend University, in the scientific field of Security sciences: Airport Safety and Air Navigation, Air Safety Analysis, Accident Investigation and Reporting on the Incident, Crisis Management and Emergency Planning.Higher education, Information engineer, he obtained at the Higher School of Economics and Informatics in Belgrade in 1989. He graduated in 1998 at the Faculty of Management in Zajecar, a graduate in economics, the field of banking and stock exchange operations. He completed his postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Management in Zajecar in 2002. The title of the master's thesis is "Funding the company by issuing regular shares on the capital markets". He defended his doctoral dissertation titled "Anti-money Laundering as a Tool in Anti-terrorist War" in 2006 at the Faculty of Security of the University of Belgrade. In 2013, the Academy of National Security in Belgrade was elected for professor of professional studies, for the Scientific field Security sciences, Narrower fields: Security and protection of personalities and facilities, ICT security, Combating Money Laundering, Combating Organized Crime. He received the title of assistant professor and associate professor at the Faculty of Civil Aviation, full professor at the Faculty of Law, Megatrend University of Belgrade. During his previous professional career, he has been engaged in senior positions at the Federal Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republic of Serbia, Institute of Security and the Security-information Agency. He served as a member of the Airport Safety Committee of Airport „Nikola Tesla“ in Belgrade.
