After this, I have acquired some international experience. In 2003, I spent two months researching at the Laboratorio de Bases de Datos (LBD) at Universidade da Coruña in Galicia. From 2004 to 2013, I lived in Portugal where I obtained my PhD degree in Informatics at University of Lisbon (DI-FCUL) in 2009. In April 2012, I gave a workshop at Universitat de Barcelona. In June 2013, I attended the one-week intensive summer program titled "Advanced Topics of Managing Technology-Driven Projects" at Bentley University, in Massachusetts, USA. In June 2014, I attended the tutorial titled "Doing (and Succeeding with) Grounded Theory in Information Systems Research" at Tel Aviv University, in Israel.
