Biography

I am a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and Construction manager and a professional researcher with over 10 years of experience in Quantity Surveying and Construction Management. My particular interest lies in Construction Contract Auditing Mechanisms for Mitigating Failure Risks in Construction Projects. I am an astute and dynamic value-for-money promulgator and executor, with a range of competencies including Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, Procurement and Tendering, Advance Construction Technology, Project Finance, Construction Commercial Management, and Programming & Planning.

In addition to these competencies, I have also developed skills in Diversity and Inclusion, Inclusive Environment, Generally Acceptable Accounting Principles, Communication and Negotiation, Value Engineering, Team Working, Risk Management, Health and Safety in the Workplace, and Business Planning.

These skills and competencies have helped me to optimize profits for Construction Medium, Small, and Micro Enterprises (MSMEs), enabling them to move from just breaking even to achieving up to a 44% increase in profitability.

To further enhance my passion for Construction Cost Extraction, Cleaning, Analysis, Visualization, Reporting, and Management, I have upgraded my knowledge in Data Analysis with Python. I develop, train, and test models in supervised Machine Learning to enhance my analysis and interpretation of cost data.

In addition to my professional endeavours, I also coach, train, and support entry-level and mid-level career candidates. I am committed to supporting prospective candidates in their journey to professional membership in NIQS and RICS.
