Biography

My research focuses on the development of innovative approaches to enable efficient learning from complex environmental datasets. I seek to develop of a methodological framework to allow understanding the spatio-temporal dynamic of environmental processes and assessing the influence of influencing and predisposing factors.
My current research target is on land use/land cover change analyses and on the elaboration of predictive scenario and susceptibility maps for hazardous events (mostly wildfires and landslides).
