Biography

谢懿,北京大学化学与分子工程学院副教授/研究员,本科毕业于中国科学技术大学,博士毕业于美国俄亥俄州立大学,曾在美国相关领域国家实验室担任首位Glenn Seaborg杰出博士后和长聘研究员,曾担任美国普渡大学工程学院的助理教授。主要从事极端环境下关键材料化学的研究,成功研制出先进能源材料和耐极端环境功能材料,显著提高了系统的安全性和经济效益,减少废料产生。Yi Xie is an Associate Professor at the College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering, Peking University. She received the bachelor's degree from the University of Science and Technology of China and her Ph.D. from The Ohio State University in the United States. She previously worked as the Glenn Seaborg Distinguished Postdoctoral Fellow and a Scientist at a national laboratory in the U.S. in a related field. Additionally, she served as an Assistant Professor at the College of Engineering at Purdue University. Her research focuses on the chemistry of critical materials under extreme environments. She has successfully developed advanced energy materials and functional materials resistant to extreme conditions, significantly improving system safety and economic efficiency while reducing waste generation.
