Biography

Chloe Goldbach (she/her/hers), is a Licensed Psychologist at the LGBT+ Counseling Collaborative in Arlington, VA. She holds a PhD in counseling psychology and MA in psychology from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, and BA in psychology, BS in mechanical engineering, and MS in biomedical engineering from the University of Florida. Chloe conducts research in transgender-affirmative mental health care, LGBTQ+ relationships, and de-stigmatization of transgender bodies and how society conceptualizes gender dysphoria. Her current research project focuses on assessing how interpersonal and systemic factors may be connected to self-reported levels of gender dysphoria. She is a co-author of Counseling in a Gender Expansive World: Resources to Support Therapeutic Practice and co-authored multiple manuscripts on recommendations for clinical work with transgender and non-binary clients, gender dysphoria, trans athletes, and health experiences of trans individuals. She also hosts a small YouTube channel on transgender experiences and education.
