Biography

Dr. Illahi Bakhsh is an accomplished applied linguist and educator with 17 years of teaching and research experience. Currently serving as an Associate Professor of Linguistics at the University of Sindh, Pakistan, he is committed to advancing the field of linguistics through impactful research, innovative teaching, and collaborative academic initiatives.
Dr. Bakhsh holds a Ph.D. in Linguistics and an M.A. in English Linguistics. He has also earned professional certifications from prestigious institutions, including the University of Oregon, Arizona State University, and the University of London, underscoring his dedication to academic and pedagogical excellence.
Dr. Bakhsh has a robust portfolio of publications in high-impact journals indexed by Scopus and Web of Science including Speech Communication Journal, Corpus Pragmatics, International Journal of Corpus Linguistics and Pragmatics, International Journal of Speech Technology, Cogent Arts & Humanities.
