Biography

Eric is Professorial Fellow at the Bio21 Institute and heads the Ian Holmes Imaging Centre. He joined the University of Melbourne early in 2010 after postdoctoral studies at the University of Adelaide and Latrobe University where he respectively studied extracellular matrix architecture and the ultrastructure of the malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum.
His research interests are mainly in 3D imaging using electrons (block face SEM, tomography, cryoEM)
