Biography
Prof. Li respectively received his BS and MSc degrees in Materials Processing in 1998 and 2001 from Xi’an Jiao Tong University, and then received his PhD degree in Automotive Engineering in 2005 from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU). After graduation, he joined SJTU and currently is a professor of mechanical engineering at SJTU, associate director of SJTU-General Motors Collaborative Research Laboratory in Advanced Manufacturing Processes, and director of SJTU/Obara (China) Joint Laboratory of Advanced Resistance Spot Welding Technologies. Prof. Li is the recipient of Program for New Century Excellent Talents in University and the National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars.
