Biography

Utpal Dey was born in West Bengal, India, in 1989. He received M. Tech. degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India, in 2014 and the Ph.D. degree from University of Stuttgart, Stuttgart, Germany, in 2019. Between 2018 to 2019, he worked as a high frequency hardware developer with Rohde & Schwarz, Munich, Germany. Since June 2019, he is a senior researcher in Institute of Radio Frequency Technology, University of Stuttgart, Stuttgart, Germany. His research interests include dielectric waveguides and near-field measurements in mm-wave frequency.
