Biography

I am working as Professor and Head, Department of Physics, Sri Dev Suman Uttarakhand University, Pt L M S Campus Riskikesh (Dehradun) India. I worked as a Principal, Govt Degree College Someshwar (Almora) and Professor/ Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor in Physics, Govt P G College Ranikhet, Karanprayag, Rudrapur, Uttarkashi (Uttarakhand) India. My area of research interest is in Condensed Matter Physics, Materials Science - Laser Materials and Spectroscopy of Rare Earth ions and Nano Materials (Preparation and characterization of Rare Eath ions doped amino acid ternary complexes, glasses and Nano materials). I have published 52 research papers in various peer reviewed journals. I also worked as SSO-II, Department of Physics, Indian Institute of Technology New Delhi.
