Biography

I am an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering at Razi University, Iran. I am a PhD graduate in Chemical Engineering from Amirkabir University (Tehran Polytechnic) in 2012. My major researches focus on application of biocatalysts (enzymes and microorganisms) for the biorefinery of industrial residuals and agricultural wastes to green synthesis of valuable products such as biosurfactants, fatty acid methyl ester, epoxy fatty acids, carotenoid pigments, etc. Elimination of organic contaminants from aqueous and soil environments based on the applied microbiology is another field of my experience.
