Biography

Professor Dr. Amany Mohamed Haroon is currently working as Professor of Hydrobiology (Botany) at National Institute of Oceanography and Fishers Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, Cairo, Egypt. She has completed her PhD in Oceanology (Botany), Faculty of Biology, Geography and Oceanology, University of Gdansk, Poland in 1996, and Post doctorate in Hydrobiology from same Institute. Previously she was appointed as Demonstrator, Assistant Lecturer, and Lecturer at NIOF, Cairo, Egypt. A member in Asian Council of Science Editors, a member in many scientific societies and one of the editorial board of the following journals ( Pakistan Journal of Biological sciences, Asian Journal of Plant Sciences, International Journal of Botany, Asian Journal of Scientific Research and Research Journal of Phytochemistry. Reviewed many articles in international Journals. Attended and participated in more than 150 Workshops and Conferences. Participated in many projects and one book and she has 37 publications in journals contributed as author/co-author.
