Biography

Graduated in Animal Science from the Universidade Federal de Viçosa-Brazil (2013). Master in Animal Biology from the Universidade Federal de Viçosa-Brazil (2015). PhD in Animal Sciences, Specialty in Genetics and Breeding from the University of Porto - Portugal (2020). During the years 2020-2022, he worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Entomology at Universidade Federal de Viçosa-Brazil, with a CAPES-PRINT scholarship. He was a Substitute Professor in the Department of Aquaculture, Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina-Brazil, in the first academic period of 2022. He is currently an Associate Professor at Universidade Nilton Lins (Manaus), and a Permanent Professor in the Graduate Program in Aquaculture (UNINILTON LINS/INPA). He has a category C registration from FELASA (coordinating researcher) for the use of animals for scientific purposes. He is currently the coordinator of the CEUA at Universidade Nilton Lins.
