Biography

Mirosław Szumiło (born 1975) - PhD with habilitation, Polish historian.
Professor at the Department of Social History and Education, the Institute of History of the Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin, main specialist at the Institute of National Remembrance.
Editor-in-chief of the scientific journal: “Pamięć i Sprawiedliwość” (“Remembrance and Justice”).
His academic interests are focused around the system of communist rule and communist elites in Poland.
