Biography

Dr. Rungnapha Khamung began teaching at BUUIC in the Spring Semester 2016, is currently a lecturer at the program of Hospitality Tourism and MICE Management. She teaches Coastal and Marine Tourism Management, Ethics and Law related to Hotel and Tourism Industry, Principles of Hospitality and Tourism Management, Japanese for Tourism and Hotel, Airline, Tour Guide, and F&B, Japanese for Communication and Everyday Use, Persuasive Speaking, and General Knowledge of Global Society. Her academic interests include tourism development, hospitality operations, ecotourism, coastal tourism, agritourism, landscape architecture, sustainable tourism, tourism management, heritage conservation, and teaching methodology development. She went to Maejo University (BA), Oklahoma State University (MS), and Silpakorn University (PhD) for her academic studies in the areas of tourism development, cultural heritage conservation, and architectural heritage management. Through her International exchange experience in study abroad, the work experience at Kyoto University ASEAN Center, and Burapha University International College, she expands her skills in both domestic and international academic scholarship. Dr. Khamung is versatile in English and Japanese language, and possess fundamental knowledge in tourism teaching, active learning, research, publication, and practice.
