Biography

Le Xia is currently a postdoctoral associate at Bradley Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Virginia Tech. He obtained his Ph.D. in Electronics & Electrical Engineering at the University of Glasgow, United Kingdom, in 2024. Prior to that, he received his B.Eng. and M.Eng. from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China in 2017 and 2020, respectively. He has published over 13 papers as the first author with a total of 350+ citations and an h&i10-index of 9+, covering IEEE TWC, IEEE TCOM, IEEE TVT, IEEE WCM, IEEE Network, IEEE INFOCOM, IEEE ICC, and IEEE GlobeCom, etc. In parallel, he serves as a regular reviewer for multiple IEEE top journals/magazines and a TPC member for several IEEE flagship conferences and special issues. He was a recipient of the Full Ph.D. Scholarship (2020-2024) from the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) in 2020 and a recipient of the National Scholarship (top 0.2%) in 2019.
