Biography

Miguel Á. Perdomo-Batista (Santa Cruz de la Palma, 1965) is Lecturer in Linguistics at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. He holds a degree in Hispanic Philology (University of La Laguna) and a PhD in Spanish Philology (University of Las Palmas de G.C.). Belongs to the research group Linguistic and Literary Studies of Spanish, attached to the University Institute of Analysis and Textual Applications of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. He has developed his research work in the fields of the historiography of linguistics and studies on the Spanish eighteenth century. His research works have appeared in various publications and scientific congresses of his specialty.

My research interests are:Historiography of Linguistics, Studies of the Eighteenth Century, Discourse Analysis, Spanish Language.
