Biography

In 2015 I began my work as a professional providing meteorological service at the Velasco Astete International Airport in Cusco. Since 2018 I have worked as a Meteorologist Forecaster at the Jorge Chavez International Airport. Lately, I have been interested in Numerical Weather Prediction models, especially Eta and WRF. In this way, I decided to contribute scientifically with a first article where the objective was to evaluate the performance of Eta model predictions during the occurrence of an extreme snowfall event in the Andes of southern Peru (https://doi. org/10.1590/0102-7786360012). Recently, I am interested in forecasting with machine learning techniques applied to aeronautical meteorology data. I enjoy my work as an operational forecaster and independent investigator. Also, I have the chance to be an aeronautical instructor at the Civil Aviation Training Center (CIAC) and an assistant professor at the Peruvian Air Force War College (ESFAP).
