Biography

Valeria Márquez Arellano holds a bachelor’s degree in English language teaching and a master’s degree in applied linguistics in English language teaching from the University of Guanajuato. She has over eleven years of teaching experience working with children, teenagers, and adults in public and private institutions and companies. Also, she worked as a language coordinator in a private institution at the middle school and high school levels. Her experience includes teaching all levels of English, English for specific purposes, translation methods and rules, and classroom observation. Her research focuses on teacher development and training, second language acquisition, and discourse analysis.
