Biography

Dr. Marinella Striccoli, Physicist, is in the permanent research staff of CNR IPCF Bari since 2002. Her research interests are mainly focussed on colloidal nanocristalline structures, on their organization in ordinate assemblies and on the development of nanocomposite and hybrid materials. Her expertise covers optical, morphological and structural characterization of semiconductor and hybrid nanostructures to be used in optoelectronic and energy conversion. She is currently responsible for CNR IPCF Bari in a 7th European Framework Programme project and in a Regional Project and has been involved in several National and European Projects in the field of Material Science and semiconductor nanostructures. She is also active in tutorial activities and as evaluator and reviewer of European projects. She is co-author of several book chapters, of more than 60 papers on JCR journals and contributed to many conferences. She is a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Nanomaterials.
