Biography

Anna Balykina (maiden surname: Prilepskaya) graduated from the General Medicine program at Saint Petersburg State University (GPA=4.75 out of 5; diploma magna cum laude). Anna currently holds a Degree: Medical Doctor (BSc & MSc equivalent, 360 ECTS credits). Anna's former position was a laboratory technician and grant executor at the Laboratory of Cellular Mechanisms of Blood Homeostasis in the Sechenov Institute of Evolutionary Physiology and Biochemistry in Saint Petersburg. Anna's work included investigation of molecular mechanisms of therapeutical agents, assessment of signaling pathways activation, reactive oxide species formation, apoptosis induction, and changes in cell viability.
