Biography

Antonios Gasteratos is an Professor at DUTH. He holds a M.Eng. and a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering, DUTH, (1994 and 1999, respectively). He has been principal investigator to 5 EC, 3 ESA and 5 national funded projects related mostly to robotics and security themes. He has published over 200 papers in peer reviewed journals and international conferences. He is Assoc. Editor of the International Journal of Optomechatronics and Subject Editor of Electronics Letters. He is also reviewer of projects supported by the EC and of many international journals in the field of Computer Vision and Robotics. Antonios Gasteratos has been a member of programme committees of international conferences and chairman and co-chairman of international conferences and workshops.
