Biography

Dr. Maci Mueller is an Assistant Professor of Animal Breeding and Genetics at Kansas State University. She holds a B.S. in Animal Science from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, and earned her M.S. and Ph.D. in Animal Biology from the University of California, Davis. Dr. Mueller's research is dedicated to enhancing livestock production through the application of animal genomics and cutting-edge biotechnology, with a particular focus on gene editing. Her overarching mission is to optimize animal health, welfare, and production efficiency, by leveraging the potential of genetic-based biotechnologies.
