Biography

Mauro Parise was born in Rome, Italy, in 1974. He received the Laurea degree (cum laude) in aerospace engineering in 2002 from the University of Rome “La Sapienza”, Rome, Italy. In 2003 he carried out research activities on the electromagnetic modelling of aerospace systems at the Department of Electrical Engineering of the University “La Sapienza” as External Researcher. In 2004, he joined University Campus Bio-Medico of Rome, Italy, as a Research Fellow in Electrical Engineering. From May 2008 to January 2022 he worked as Assistant Professor at the University Campus Bio-Medico of Rome, Italy, where he is currently Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering. His research interests include therapeutic applications of EM power, modeling of inductive coupling phenomena, eigenvalue analysis of electromagnetic wave problems, analysis of transmission efficiency of wireless power transfer systems, electromagnetic sounding techniques.
