Biography

Dr. Shiferaw is an assistant professor of Environment and Natural Resource Management and the Director of Research at Assosa University. His research interests include bamboo forest dynamics, biomass and carbon, climate change adaptation and mitigation, land use, and environment and natural resource management. Dr. Shiferaw is now working on several projects related to allometric modeling, biomass and carbon stock of bamboo forest, climate change, and climate-smart forestry.
