Biography
Doctor (DSc) in Chemical Engineering in 2020, from Post-Graduate Program in Chemical Engineering at the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), Brazil. Master in Chemical Engineering from UFPE in 2013. Received a PIBIC/CNPq scholarship, with a project developed at UFPE in the area of environmental engineering from 2005 to 2008. Intern in Process Engineering at M&G Fibras Brasil S/A (current Indorama Fibers) in the Department of Technology & Development in 2008. Was a volunteer in socio-educational projects in local communities through the Rotaract Club Recife-Largo da Paz. From 2010, he started to work in the segment of bi-stretched polyester films, as Production Engineer Jr and Production Supervisor, in Terphane Ltd where he remained until 2014. From 2014 to 2016, worked as Production Supervisor in the plants of welding and assembly of suspension parts and plastic parts/PCMA at Magneti Marelli, located at the Jeep Automotive Pole in Goiana-PE, Brazil. Possesses experience in the area of process engineering, with emphasis on reuse of valorization and beneficing of wastes, acting mainly on the following themes: development of adsorbents, treatment of textile wastewaters, kinetics and modeling of adsorptive processes. Currently, have been developing research projects in the field of development of multifunctional nanomaterials for applications in processes of remediation of soils and industrial wastewaters.
