Biography

Dr. Suprabhat Mukherjee is an eminent researcher in the field of biochemistry and immunology of infectious diseases. His major research interest has been and on the typical immunopathology and biochemistry of tropical infectious diseases especially lymphatic filariasis. Presently he is working as Assistant Professor at Kazi Nazrul University, Asansol, India. Dr. He is the recipient of several awards including EMBO fellowship, National Post-Doctoral Fellowship, D.S. Kothari Postdoctoral fellowship, Young Scientist award for best oral presentation, Zydus-Award for best poster presentation, ICMR-travel grants (2014 & 2018) awards. His current area of specialization is the targeted stimulation of host immunity through development of antifilarial drugs from natural sources and evaluation of their mode of action at molecular level. He has research experience of more than 8.5 years. He has published 31 research papers in reputed international journals, 2 book chapters and presented more than 50 papers in several conferences in India and abroad.
