Biography

Klaudija Viskovic is a senior consultant in radiology and a Head of Department of radiology and Ultrasound at the University Hospital for Infectious Diseases in Zagreb, Croatia. Her field of interest is radiological and ultrasound diagnostics of infectious diseases, specially HIV/AIDS. After her specialisation at the Clinical Hospital Centre „Sisters of Mercy“ in Zagreb, Croatia, she was participated in several scientific projects as a visiting scholar at the Center for AIDS Prevention Studies at the University of California San Francisco at 2008, 2009 and 2012. She was also trained in vascular ultrasound at the Imperial College of London, Heart and Lung Institute at 2015/2016. Doctor Viskovic published 25 papers indexed in Web of Science and PubMed, most of them about ultrasound diagnostics of vascular and cardiovascular complications of HIV infection. She participated in 8 international projects and presented her research at 34 national and international conferences.
