Biography

Currently a researcher and an assistant professor in the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Oral Health, Riga Stradiņš University. Obtained a dental degree in 2007 and a PhD in 2013, both in Riga Stradiņš University, Latvia. Since 2007 worked as a general dentist. Since 2012 partial time living in Chile, revalidated professional title in Chile and working as an adjunct professor at the School of Dentistry, Southern University of Chile. My main research field is cariology and dental public health, current interests related to noninvasive or minimally invasive treatment methods for early childhood caries, which is also the topic of my current postdoctoral research project. An associate editor and reviewer in BMC Oral Health and Dental Traumatology journals. Member of International Association of Dental Research (IADR) and European Association of Dental Public Health (EADPH).
