Biography

Chisato Fukai received the B.E. and M.E. degrees in engineering, and the Ph.D. degree from Saitama University, Saitama, Japan, in 1999, 2001, and 2014, respectively. In 2001, she joined Access Network Service Systems Laboratories, NTT Corporation, Tsukuba, Ibaraki, Japan, where she has been engaged in research on optical fiber and its splicing techniques. She is a member of the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers (IEICE) of Japan.
