Biography

I am in my final year of undergraduate study conducting a senior year research project. I received a Tri-Beta research grant in order to fund my research on the effect of lidocaine of B16 cell viability and metastasis. I am applying to graduate school as I hope to continue conducting research. Currently, CART cell therapy is my main interest, and I am writing a review related to the challenges of CART exhaustion and overactivation for my undergraduate Immunology course. I have been reading about different strategies used to prevent exhaustion of CART cells, including differential gene expression and other methods, including CART rest. I hope for my Ph.D work to be either related to CART or addressing other challenges of immunotherapy, such as infiltration
