Biography

Dr. Kelvin Afrashtehfar is a Canadian dental clinician-scientist. His postgraduate clinical training includes a specialty in Prosthodontics and a subspecialty fellowship in Implant Dentistry. His research training totals 3 degrees from Canada and Switzerland.
Dr. Afrashtehfar frequently evaluates reports, theses, dissertations, grant proposals, and presentations of new techniques, procedures, and materials for research competitions, viva-voce defenses, and indexed journals with an impact factor. He is an RCDC and ITI Fellow, and up to date, he holds an international record of having lectured in every continent, published over 200 articles, reviewed more than 500 manuscripts.
His current research focuses on implant surgery, implant prosthetics, digital technologies, and clinical dental education.
