For her PhD, she performed an evidence-based investigation using three different approaches to gain an objective insight into the content of optometric eye examinations and investigate the standards of clinical practice within Optometry in England. More recently, Rakhee was involved in the Prevalence of Visual Impairment in Dementia (PrOVIDe) study as the project manager. Rakhee has an interest in evidence-based optometry, clinical optometry (glaucoma, dementia, referrals and myopia control), clinical decision making and professional practice.
