Biography

Bone and Soft Tissue (BST) sarcomas & low-grade mesenchymal neoplasms in children, adolescents & young adults (CAYA) are among my special interests, (such as NTRK-, BCOR-, BRAF- altered neoplasms,) Small Cell Carcinoma of the Ovary, Hypercalcemic Type (SCCOHT) and targetable novel fusion sarcomas.
A member of the Vascular Anomalies team (HVMC) @CincyKids, I advocate for the ISSVA classification of vascular tumors and malformations. I am a keen collaborator in studying inflammatory disorders such synovitis in kids and models for MAFLD. I am a proponent of spatial transcriptomics, digital pathology (DP), and safe and effective application of AI in medicine.
A board-certified Pediatric Pathologist, Medical Director of Anatomic Pathology and Director of Oncopathology at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, I advocate for effective early professional development.
