Biography

Coming from a multidisciplinary background in Psychology and Marketing, my interests lie within the general scopes of Social Psychology but are nonetheless influenced by organizations and media. Particularly, my PhD research focuses on the intersections of gender, sexuality, and immigration status as related to the stereotype content model, social perception, and compartmentalization. While my academic work thus far has examined these themes, I am eager to explore topics such as the social identity theory and anti-immigrant behavior or the effects of demographic incongruency on perceived prototypicality. Most of all, I am eager to discuss new ideas with those from adjacent fields, bridging the theoretical gap between disciplines.
