Biography

Degree in Dentistry from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul - UFRGS (2014), where she received a scholarship from the Tutorial Education Program (PET). Master's degree in Dentistry - Area of ​​Concentration: Dental Clinic / Operative Dentistry-Cariology (2016) and a Ph.D. in Dentistry - Area of ​​Concentration: Dental Clinic / Operative Dentistry-Cariology (2022) from the Postgraduate Program in Dentistry of the same University (PPGOdo - UFRGS). She has experience as Assistant Professor of Dental Clinic / Cariology-Operative Dentistry and Oral Microbiology and Biochemistry at the Faculty of Dentistry of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) in the Department of Preventive and Social Dentistry (2017/01 and 2020/01). She has experience in Clinical Dentistry (2015-current), emphasis on Operative Dentistry. She has an ongoing specialization in Pediatric Dentistry at IOA/Porto Alegre (2021-). Currently develops research in the areas of Operative Dentistry-Cariology and Oral Microbiology-Molecular Biology-Bioinformatics focusing on analyzes of the Dental Biofilm Metatranscriptome related to Dental Caries with the use of Next Generation Sequencing tools, Differential Expression Analysis, and Network Co-Expression Analysis. She has experience with teaching, extension, and research activities (clinical studies, observational studies, and systematic reviews).
