Biography

Current: Lecturer (Chemical Engineering), Changzhou University; Ph.D. (Chemical Engineering), Post-Doctorate (Material Science and Engineering), Nanjing University of Science and Technology.
Research Interest:
My research is centered on developing innovative, sustainable solutions to global environmental and energy
challenges through the strategic design of advanced functional materials. I specialize in crafting efficient and
economical photocatalysts and electrocatalysts of bismuth-based and transition metal-nitrogen-carbon (M-N-C)
materials. By meticulously manipulating material properties such as morphology, electronic structure and band
transition, and atomic composition, I aim to optimize their performance for environmental remediation and CO2
reduction into renewable fuels. Besides, I focus on non-metallic heteroatoms doping to modulate the electronic
structure of transition metal-N-C electrocatalysts, improving their efficacy in water splitting and fuel cell reactions
for efficient energy storage and conversion. Committed to addressing global energy demands and environmental
challenges, I strive to design low-cost, eco-friendly catalysts with superior chemical stability through green, efficient,
and economical synthesis methods.
