Roberta L. Millstein is Professor Emerit at the Department of Philosophy, University of California, Davis. Professor Millstein does research in the history and philosophy of biology, especially evolution and ecology, and in environmental ethics. Her current project is a reinterpretation and new defense of Aldo Leopold's land ethic.
