Biography
Soletskyi Oleksandr Markiyanovych - doctor of philological sciences. He was born in Kolomyia, Ivano-Frankivsk region, on September 12, 1977. In 2001, he was a fellow of the Oleh Olzhych Research Foundation of the USA in Ukraine, the fund of Professor Emil Yakym.
In 2008, he defended his candidate's thesis "Valery Shevchuk - a researcher and interpreter of Ukrainian baroque literature" on the specialty 10.01.01 "Ukrainian literature". Since November 2014, a doctoral student of the Department of Ukrainian Literature of the "Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University ". In 2018, he defended his doctoral dissertation "Modification of Emblematic Forms of Ukrainian Folklore and Literary Discourses" on 10.01.01 "Ukrainian Literature" and 10.01.06 "Literary Theory" at Kyiv University named after Boris Grinchenko, scientific consultant - Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor Khorob S.I.
In 2018-2019, Oleksandr Markiyanovych worked as the "Pokuttian Trinity Research Center" director. From September 1, 2018 to September 2020 - the head of the Philology Department of the Kolomyia Educational and Scientific Institute of the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University. Since September 2020, he has been a professor at the Department of Ukrainian Literature at Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University.
Participant of more than 60 international and all-Ukrainian scientific conferences, symposiа and congresses, organizer of the All-Ukrainian scientific and practical conference "Vasyl Stefanyk, Ivan Franko, Andrey Sheptytskyi in the context of cultural and historical processes of the late 19th and early 20th centuries." (Kolomiya, May 16-17, 2019), of the International Scientific Congress "Vasyl Stefanyk and World Culture" (Rusiv-Ivano-Frankivsk, May 14-15, 2021).
Author of more than 80 scientific articles in professional journals of Ukraine. Separate publications have been published in internationally indexed journals of Great Britain, Italy, Poland, Hungary, and the Czech Republic, in particular in publications of the Edinburgh University "Language and Psychoanalysis", the Milan University of Linguistics and Communication "Poli-Femo. Letteratura e arti", University named after Marie Curie-Skłodowska in Lublin "Spheres of Culture. Journal of Philological, Historical, Social and Media Communication, Political Science and Cultural Studies", etc. Author of the monograph "Emblemical forms of discourse: from myth to postmodern" (2018), seven collective monographs - "Gryhoriy Skovoroda: The Mysteriousness of Presence", "Taras Shevchenko: A View from the Third Millennium", "Western Ukraine: Historical, Cultural and Ethnolinguistic Aspects (the second half of the 19th - 21st centuries)", "Wounded by the word", "Vasyl Stefanyk, Ivan Franko, Andriy Sheptytskyi in the context of cultural and historical processes of the end of the 19th - 20th centuries", "In search of a unified basis: Metaphysical spectrum of Ukrainian literature of the 11th - 18th centuries .", "Stepan Khorob: the road to the word."
