Biography

Firdos Alam Khan is a Professor of the Department of Stem Cell Research at Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University, Saudi Arabia, where he has been teaching and conducting research for over six years. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Biology (UK) and a Postdoctoral Fellow from MIT (USA), reflecting his academic excellence and international recognition. With more than 26 years of experience in the fields of nanomaterials, biomaterials, cancer therapeutics, and regenerative medicine, he aims to develop innovative solutions for human diseases and disorders. He has authored and edited several books, published more than 116 research papers in mostly Q1 and Q2 indexed journals, and obtained 12 US patents, and 12 patents are also published. He is also a reviewer for several peer-reviewed journals and a recipient of many national and international awards. He is passionate about advancing the knowledge and practice of biotechnology and medical sciences for the benefit of society.
