Biography
Eva Diaz obtained her B.S. degree in chemical engineering (2002) and her Ph.D. degree (2005) at the University of Oviedo (Oviedo, Spain). She works as an Full Professor in the Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering since 2020. She spent several periods abroad (Institute de Recherches sur la Catalyse and University of Berkeley) to develop research programs in the adsorption and catalysis fields. Her interests are focused on adsorption processes, research of new materials (micro- and mesoporous ones) and heterogeneous catalysis. She is the author of more than 140 scientific publications in refereed journals, 3 patents, and more than 100 presentations in congresses. Diaz has given several conferences at national and international congresses and participated in several industrial projects and international research programs. She has offered consulting services related to the environment policy to professionals in Spain and coedited a book on this field.
