Biography

Dr. Vikas Nandwana is co-founder and CTO of MFNS Tech and inventor of OHM sponge. He has been working in the field of functional nanomaterials for biomedical, energy and environmental applications for last 15+ years. Born and brought in Udaipur (India), he has studied/worked at world class universities including Northwestern University, University of Massachusetts at Amherst, University of Texas, and IIT Bombay. With more than 50 journal articles, book chapters, and patents under his belt, Dr. Nandwana has been ranked in top 15 authors in the world in the field of his PhD. His work has been featured on front/opening page of National Science Foundation, C&EN, Science Daily and various other media outlets and cited all around the world in more than 50 countries.
Vikas Nandwana
Dr. Nandwana has been invited to speak at various international conferences and symposiums. He serves as a reviewer, panelist, judge, and mentor of various scientific societies, science clubs, and international scientific journals. Dr. Nandwana is particularly interested in applied research-led entrepreneurship that can convert laboratory bench invention into commercialized technologies. He has co-founded a start-up venture for developing nano-manufacturing platform for energy and biomedical applications. In addition to research, Dr. Nandwana is deeply committed and involved in various mentoring and outreach activities that promote young minds to pursue research career.
