Biography

Martin Aumüller is an associate professor in the Algorithms Group at IT University of Copenhagen. He is mainly interested in the design, analysis, and implementation of randomized algorithms, in particular for similarity search and differential privacy. He is affiliated with the Providentia project at University of Copenhagen. Previously, he was an assistant professor at ITU and a postdoctoral researcher at ITU (working in the ERC-funded project on Scalable Similarity Search of Rasmus Pagh). He obtained his PhD in 2015 from Technische Universität Ilmenau under the supervision of Martin Dietzfelbinger.
