Biography

Main focus in research: Health behaviors, behavior modification and health promotion with focus on a holistic view. Extensive experience in study design and conducting research, both cross-sectional, longitudinal and in intervention form in school setting and among families. Research fields include wellbeing and mental health, dietary behavior in relation to food fussiness, weight management, body composition, lifestyle and health in terms of health promotion, prevention and treatment. Focus on multidisciplinary research working in close cooperation with scientist and health specialists from other fields. Other experience in the field involves the development of research methods and research tools. Studies have included children, late adolescence, pregnancy and lactation, adult workers and older adults.
